Kandice N. Point-Du-Jour is a dynamic motivational speaker and workshop facilitator who uses her extensive dance education background to add a unique twist to her presentations. By incorporating movement and embodied practices, she inspires wellness, cultivates transformation, and empowers individuals to reach their full potential.

With 25 years of experience as the Artistic Director and Dance Educator in the NJ public school system. Kandice has nurtured the talents of countless students, inspiring them to find their unique voices through movement. The first cooperating teacher for dance education in New Jersey, Kandice mentored aspiring educators from Montclair State University and Rutgers University.

Beyond the classroom, Kandice is a passionate advocate for personal growth, community development, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in dance education. She currently serves as the Board President for Dance New Jersey and chairs the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access Committee. Through the National Dance Education Organization, she has mentored aspiring and novice dance educators and supervised six pairs of mentor and mentee relationships nationally. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

A recipient of numerous awards, including the Empowering Educator Award from Umoja Dance Company, the NJ Chapter of the National Black MBA Association's Community Lifestyle Award, Eastern District Dance Teacher of the Year by the American Alliance of Health, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD), and the NJAHPERD Dance Teacher of the Year Award, Kandice is renowned for her exceptional dedication and impact on the dance community. Her Get the Point! Dance Podcast has inspired and educated audiences worldwide, and her presentations at state and national conferences have captivated and enlightened communities.
